Let’s gather for Yoga Nidra accompanied with relaxing sound from a 38-inch gong. Nidra in ancient Indian language, Sanskrit, means “sleep” and Yoga means “to yolk” or come together. Yoga Nidra stands for dynamic sleep and has shown to have tremendous effects on treating a lot of issues that can be debilitating such as sleep disorders, anxiety, hypertension, depression, chemical dependency, and can aid in pain management. Yoga Nidra is an approach to meditation, so it is important to be present but also practice letting go. It may be difficult to achieve at first, but with continuing practice, you will reap the benefits. Dress super cozy! Thick mats, blankets, and bolsters will be provided.
